How the daily check works
A lightweight HEAD request, run once a day, following redirects up to 5 hops deep.
Destination responds normally, under 3 seconds.
Destination responds, but takes 3+ seconds — worth a look before it gets worse.
HTTP 400+, SSL failure, connection refused, DNS error, or timeout. Alert email sent.
One alert, not a flood. The first time a link transitions to Unhealthy, you get an email. We won't send another for the same link within 24 hours — so a flapping destination doesn't bury your inbox.
