1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Truthylink (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You may not share your account with others or use another person's account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that have been inactive for an extended period.

3. Plans and Billing

Truthylink offers subscription tiers: Free, Pro, and Business. The features available under each plan are described on our Pricing page, which may be updated from time to time.

3.1 Payments

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. By providing payment details, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method.

3.2 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you upgrade to a paid plan and are not satisfied within the first 30 days, contact us at support@truthylink.com and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked. The guarantee applies once per customer and does not apply to plan renewals.

3.3 Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for unused time beyond the 30-day guarantee window.

3.4 Plan limits

If you exceed the link or click limits of your plan, we will notify you. Continued excess may result in temporary rate-limiting or a request to upgrade.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Distribute malware, phishing pages, or other malicious content
Link to content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or in India
Generate or distribute spam
Infringe intellectual property rights
Collect personal data without proper consent
Circumvent or interfere with the Service's security measures
Use automated tools to create links in bulk without prior agreement

We may remove links and suspend accounts that violate these policies without notice.

5. Link Safety Scanning

Truthylink automatically scans destination URLs against the Google Safe Browsing API to detect known malware, phishing, and unwanted-software threats. Scan results are cached and refreshed regularly.

Links flagged as unsafe will display a warning interstitial rather than redirecting immediately. We may permanently disable or remove flagged links.

Limitation: Safe Browsing covers only known threats in Google's database. A clean result is not a guarantee that a destination is safe — it reflects the state of Google's database at the time of the most recent scan. You remain responsible for the content you link to.

6. Destination Health Monitoring

On Pro and Business plans, Truthylink performs automated daily HTTP checks on your active links to monitor destination availability and SSL validity. These checks originate from our servers and constitute automated requests to the destination URLs.

By creating links on a Pro or Business plan, you acknowledge that we will make periodic automated requests to those destinations. We make no guarantee about the accuracy or timeliness of health check results.

7. Click Fraud Detection

Truthylink analyses click patterns to identify likely non-human or fraudulent activity, including:

Repeated clicks from the same anonymised IP subnet within a short window
Burst patterns indicative of click farms or automated traffic
Clicks originating from known VPN exit nodes, Tor relays, or datacenter IP ranges (where IP reputation data is configured)
Requests identified as bot traffic via User-Agent matching

Clicks flagged as fraudulent are excluded from your reported analytics. Fraud signals are stored for auditing purposes. We do not share individual fraud data with third parties.

8. Analytics and Privacy

Truthylink collects analytics data for links you create. All analytics processing is server-side only — we set no tracking cookies and load no client-side analytics scripts. IP addresses used for geolocation and fraud detection are anonymised to a /24 subnet (IPv4) or /48 prefix (IPv6) before storage.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, without liability to you.

Upon termination, your links will stop redirecting. We will retain your data for up to 30 days before deletion unless a longer retention period is required by law.

10. Intellectual Property and Content

Truthylink and its technology are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property law. By using the Service, you do not acquire any rights in our brand, software, or content.

You retain ownership of the destination URLs and any custom slugs you create. You grant us a limited licence to operate the Service on your behalf, including storing, processing, and redirecting your links.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components. Safe Browsing scan results are provided by Google and we make no independent warranty regarding their accuracy.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Truthylink and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. If you are located outside India, you consent to the jurisdiction of Indian courts for any such disputes.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
